Beverly “Bev” J. Green
80, formerly of Camden, went to be with the Lord Monday, April
25, 2022.
She was born July 27, 1941, in Cincinnati, to the late Floyd and Dorothy (Race)
Bromwell.
In addition to her parents, Bev was preceded in death by her husband, Walter A. Green Sr.; daughter, Kimberly J. Nusbaum; and brother, Floyd “Sonny” Bromwell.
She is survived by her sons, Walter “Bob” (Cindy) and Gordon (Lora) Green;
grandchildren, Robert “Robby”, Kristina, Ashleigh, Cody, Zachary, and Becca; sister-in-
law, Fran Bromwell, niece and nephews Tammy (Fayard), Troy and Eric Bromwell and
4 great grandchildren.
Beverly graduated high school from Dillsboro, Indiana. She graduated from nursing
school from Cincinnati Jewish Hospital and also the University of Nevada Las Vegas.
She had an extensive career (30+ years) in the nursing field, ranging from Emergency
Room Nurse, ICU Nurse to Nursing Coordinator.
Bev enjoyed spending time gardening, traveling, and reading books. She loved sports
including football (the Army/Navy game), the Kentucky derby, the Indianapolis 500 and
especially the Cincinnati Reds. She was talented at drawing and had a great sense of
humor. Her favorite saying was “I’m not short, all my friends are tall.”
The family will receive friends Monday, May 2 from 4:30-6:30 PM at BALES FUNERAL
HOME, Camden, with a Memorial Service to begin at 6:30 PM.
The Camden and Eaton Public Library were a godsend to Beverly, delivering her books
when she was unable to go to the library, she loved her books and reading.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bev’s memory may be made to the Camden Public
Library, 104 S. Main Street, Camden, 45311.
Thanks to the Greenbriar staff for their care in taking care of Beverly for the past 5+
years.
