Age 75, of Somerville, passed away Tuesday July 25, 2017.
She was born August 18, 1941 in Estill County, Kentucky to the late Matthew and Buford (Tipton) Newton.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; son, Robert Lunsford; and siblings, Tracy, Betty, Bob, Dale, Bev, Tom, and Zula Frances.
She is survived by her children, Myron (Sharon) Lunsford, Darryl Lunsford, Shirley (Timothy) Spencer, and Sheila Maxfield; 14 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; brother, Ralph Newton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bonnie enjoyed making arts and crafts, sewing, playing Phase 10, and cooking. Three nights a week she could be found playing bingo, and she had her cards before everyone else! Most importantly, she lived her life for her children and grandchildren.
A visitation will be held Monday, July 31 from 10AM to 12PM at the BALES’ FUNERAL HOME, (formerly Nein Funeral Home) Camden. The funeral service will begin at 12PM with Rev. Mark Crary officiating. Burial will follow at Somerville Cemetery, Somerville.
