Carolyn Jane Burton

went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 2nd 2024.

Born December 31, 1948 to parents Frank and Norma (Wymer) Tate.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband Bobby Burton, sister Naomi (Solomon) Boseau, sister-in-law Kathy Tate, brothers-in-laws Bob Boyd and Richard Burton, special niece and nephew Jenny (Perry) Chaffin and Ryan Burton (Lexi) who knew her as 'Aunt Mommy', and many other beloved nieces and nephews, special friends, Vivian Green, Cindy Lacefield and Joelah Marcum, special PT's Susan and Kim, and special nurse Liz.

She was preceded in death by her parents, maternal Grandparents John and Eunice Wymer and paternal Grandparents James and Mylinda Tate, and Father and Mother-in-law Clifton and Marie Burton, five brothers, James Speigel, John W. Tate, Roy, Raymond, and Russell Tate, seven sisters, Mary Boyd, Martha (Lee) McWhorter, Rebecca Tate, Ruth Handlon, Dorothy Taylor, Marie Benton, and Estelle Ruele. Great nephew Mark Lyons and Brother in Law, Orville Burton.

Carolyn was beloved by all. She had a heart bigger than the world and did everything she could to help others. She had a unique sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. She fought a brave hard battle during her extended illness's. Rest in God's care now 'Janie'. We love you and miss you.
