Chris “Boo-Boo” Barnett
47, of Covington, Kentucky, passed away, Friday, July 12, 2024.
He was born May 1, 1977, in Covington, to his parents, Clifton Earl Barnett, Jr. and Joyce Ann (Reed) Snyder.
Chris was preceded in death by his dad, Clifton.
He is survived by his mom, Joyce (David) Snyder; partner, William Harrison; siblings, Joy “Sissy” Brockman, Catherine (Punky) Robinson, and James “Joe” Barnett; Half-sister, Margaret; nieces and nephews, Nikki Lopez, Steven Brockman, Katie Brockman, CJ Barnett, Cy-Cy Rowe, Co-Co Nut Rowe, Cain-man Rowe, Khlo-Khlo Barnett, Ky-Ky Barnett, Bray-Bray Barnett, and Bugsy Barnett; 13.5 great nieces and nephews; and many more family and friends.
Chris was an avid Lego collector, spending countless hours building intricate and imaginative structures. His collection was a testament to the love for creativity and precision, with each piece carefully placed to bring visions to life.
A true aficionado of the superhero world, Chris's heart was shared between the realms of Marvel and DC Comics. His favorite characters included the witty and irreverent Deadpool, the dark and brooding Batman, the agile and resourceful Spiderman, and the iconic and powerful Superman. Chris found joy and inspiration in the adventures and stories of these heroes, often engaging in spirited discussions about his favorite comics and movies.
Chris had a penchant for the thrilling and the eerie, enjoying scary movies with a particular fondness for the classic "Texas Chainsaw Massacre." His love for the genre was infectious, often leading to movie nights filled with spine-chilling excitement and laughter.
In addition to their many interests, Chris had a special place in his heart for reptiles, especially lizards. He enjoyed the companionship and unique personalities of these fascinating creatures, taking great care in creating comfortable and nurturing environments for his scaly friends.
A Celebration of Life will take place Saturday, July 27 from 3PM to 5PM at his brother, Joe’s house, 34 N. Main Street, Camden.
