Cindy Dillon

65, of Camden, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, April 27, 2025.

She was born December 10, 1959, in Hamilton, to the late Norma Jean (Cole) and Billy J. Steele, Sr.

In addition to her parents, Cindy was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Steele, Jr.; sister, Cathy Strong; niece, Hady Henson; and nephews, Jimmy Strong and Jamie Steele.

She is survived by her son, Dennis (Misty) Rogers; daughter, Tina (Mike) Blanton; grandchildren, Brittany (Phoenix) Rickard, Kerria (Travis) Frost, and Kayla Rogers; great grandchildren, Paisley Gross and Wrenlee McMullen; and siblings, Richie Steele, Eric Steele, and JoAnna (Eugene) Cupp.

A proud fan of her daily Pepsi, she lived life on her own terms, always with a deck of cards nearby, ready to play a lively game of Hand and Foot with anyone who was willing to join.

More than anything, Cindy had a heart that was bigger than the world itself. She would do anything for anyone without hesitation, whether it was offering a helping hand, a listening ear, or a comforting hug.

Cindy's greatest joy in life was her grandchildren, who were the absolute lights of her life. She loved them so fiercely that she often joked, and sometimes tried!, to "kidnap" them for spontaneous adventures, with Disney World always at the top of her list. Her playful spirit and deep love for her family created memories that will be treasured forever.

A visitation will be held Friday, May 2 from 11AM to 1PM at BALES FUNERAL HOME, Camden. The funeral service will begin at 1PM with interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery, Morning Sun.
