Dorothy (House) Lintner

68, of Camden, went Home, Monday, July 17, 2023.

She was born May 12, 1955, in Hamilton, to the late Andrew and Roberta (Beasley) House.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her loving companion of 30 years, Charles Myers; and brother, Earl House.

She is survived by her children, Andrew Drake, Angela Drake, and Anna (Ron) Drake; grandchildren, Corie, Joshua, Anthony, Tyler, and Christopher (Kelsey); siblings, Robert House and Herstle House; furbaby, Tink; sister-in-law, Susan House; and nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

She attended Preble Shawnee High School, where she made lifelong friends and laid the foundation for her future endeavors.

A true social butterfly, Dorothy had a passion for playing bingo. Many evenings were spent in the company of friends, enjoying the thrill of the game and the laughter that ensued. She always brought joy to those around her, and her infectious laughter brightened the room.

One of Dorothy's greatest pleasures was searching for hidden treasures in thrift stores. She had an uncanny knack for finding unique and special items that held sentimental value. Her keen eyes and warm heart made these shopping trips memorable and exciting.

The heart of Dorothy's home was undoubtedly the kitchen, where she found her true calling in cooking and baking. Her culinary skills were unparalleled, and her family and friends were treated to a delightful array of delicious dishes and mouthwatering treats.

A visitation will be held Friday, July 21 from 12PM to 2PM at BALES FUNERAL HOME, Camden. The funeral service will begin at 2PM with burial to follow at Fairmount Cemetery, Camden.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Greenbriar Nursing Center, especially nieces, Alyssa, Abbey, and Serena, for the wonderful care they provided to Dorothy.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for contributions be made directly to the funeral home to assist the family with the funeral expenses.
