Glen P. Deaton, Sr.
Age 78, of Palm Bay, Florida, passed away Friday, October 30, 2020 at his residence.
He was born April 29, 1942 in Blue Diamond Coal Mine, Kentucky to the late Robert and Edra (Cornett) Deaton.
Glen retired from the GM Corvette Plant in Bowling Green, Kentucky after 38 years of service. He was a 32degree Master Mason and an Ancient accepted Scottish Rites Free Masonry of Cincinnati. Glen was also a US Army veteran.
In addition to his parents, Glen was preceded in death by brothers, Noah Deaton, Bill Deaton, and John (Sue) Deaton.
He is survived by his son, Glen (Jennifer) Deaton, Jr.; daughter, Diana Bocock; step-son, Chris McCoy; grandchildren, Bethany, Cole, and Jaxson Deaton, Brianna and Cheyenne Bocock, and Todd and William McCoy; siblings, Bernice Porter of KY, Lois Gilstrap of AL, Iris (Charles) Gilliam of OH, and Thomas (Jackie) Deaton of FL; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 10 from 9:30-10:30AM at BALES FUNERAL HOME, Camden. The funeral service will begin at 10:30AM with Pastor Greg Jackson officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park, Hamilton.
