Iva May Martin,

Age 66, of Camden, passed away Monday, August 22, 2022 at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 12, 1955 at home in West Middletown, OH to Ambrose S. Martin and Ruth M. (McDaniel) Smallwood.

She is preceded in death by her parents (Ambrose and Ruth) and sisters; Betty Huffer, Edith Finnell and Mildred Lam.

She is survived by her daughters Tonya Martin Cruze, Angela (Scott) Brittain, Elizabeth (Philip) Massine. Also surviving are her grandchildren; Kristina Cruze, Hannah Cruze, Tyler Brittain, Ashley (Justin) Baker, Khloe Cruze, Trystan Massine and Taryn Massine. Her great grandchildren; Brody, Brooklyn & Brennen Baker and Luna & Lily Clifton. She is also survived by her sisters; Phyllis Hatton, Dixie Little, Sharron Shuler and Rachael Smallwood, as well as many more nieces, nephews, cousins and family members.

Iva was blessed with a large and loving family. Spending time with her family is what she loved the most, whether having cook outs, vacations, traveling or meals together. She enjoyed gardening, baking, crocheting, watching the hummingbirds and more.

Iva lost her battle with colon cancer, but her strong will to live, unwavering faith in God, and the love and prayers of family and friends carried her through 22 months of treatment.

Friends are invited to say a final goodbye to Iva at BALES' FUNERAL HOME in Camden, OH on Thursday, August 25, 2022 from 11:00AM-1:00PM.
