Kelly A. Raney-Wilson

56, of Camden, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, January 18, 2025.

She was born December 27, 1968, in Middletown, to Jim E. and Sheila G. (Brewer) Raney.

Kelly was preceded in death by her mother; Sheila and her daughter; Katelyn Audra Wilson.

She is survived by her father; Jim Raney, daughter; Kassy (Maurel) Simon, siblings; Steve (Cathy) Raney, Jamie (Trisha) Raney, and Felicia (Brian) Clingner, nieces and nephews; Ashlee Williams, Troy Raney, Jacob Raney, Paige Bruder, Aaron Chelgren, Dylan Chelgren, Brooke Raney, and Oliver Chelgren, her precious pets; Yeti, and Shyla, and many dear friends and extended family.

For many years, she worked at Atrium, where her profession allowed her to make a profound impact on countless lives. Known affectionately by her co-workers as “mom,” Kelly brought warmth and a nurturing spirit to the workplace, often celebrating her colleagues’ birthdays with sweet surprises of candy that brightened their days. Her commitment to saving lives went beyond her professional duties; she exemplified the very essence of kindness and care in everything she did.

Beyond her remarkable career, Kelly had a zest for life that was infectious. She cherished the sounds of 70's soft rock, 80's hairbands, and the unmistakable grunge of the 90s, often filling her home with melodies that captured the essence of her spirited personality. Kelly shared cherished moments with her dad, bonding over their mutual love of sports, whether it was cheering for the Cincinnati Reds or rallying behind the UK Basketball team. These experiences created a treasure trove of memories that her family will carry in their hearts forever.

An avid animal lover, Kelly had a special place in her heart for those in need. She often welcomed home animals that required care, showcasing her nurturing nature and unwavering commitment to all living beings. Each furry companion that crossed her path found solace and love under her roof, a true reflection of her gentle spirit.

She adored babies, children and all furry creatures. She’d adopt any stray or wounded animal, and later, any kid who might need a little extra mothering.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Kelly on Friday, January 24th, 3pm-7pm, at Deer Run Lodge.
