Louraine (Saylor) Michael

63, of Fairfield Township, formerly Camden, went to be with the Lord, Friday, December 20, 2024.

She was born December 3, 1961, in Dayton, to the late Charles, Sr. and Rachel (Hacker) Saylor.

In addition to her parents, Louraine was preceded in death by brothers, Charles Saylor, Jr. and Johnny R. Saylor.

She is survived by her daughters, Charly (Aaron) Wooton and Megan (Ryan) Hudson; grandchildren, Decklin, Gavin, Jace, and Wyatt; fiancée, Ron Dykes; siblings, Jimmy Lee Saylor, Mary Louise Saylor, and Tom Ray Saylor; and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Known for her hardworking spirit and deep love for the world around her, Louraine dedicated her life to serving others in various capacities, leaving an unforgettable mark on all who knew her.

Louraine’s passion for service was evident in everything she did. Whether it was rushing to help others as part of the emergency squad, lending her skills in cosmetology to brighten someone's day, or providing support at the local post office, she approached each role with dedication and a genuine desire to make a difference. Her work ethic was second to none, and she was always ready to lend a hand whenever needed.

Outside of her professional life, Louraine found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She cherished moments spent sitting on her back deck, soaking in the beauty of nature, and eagerly awaiting the appearance of the friendly neighborhood fox that often visited. Her love for the outdoors and the serenity it brought her reflected her kind and peaceful soul.

A visitation will be held on Monday, December 23 from 11AM to 1PM at BALES FUNERAL HOME, Camden. The funeral service will begin at 1PM with interment to follow at Fairmount Cemetery, Camden.
