Melodie A. (Estep) Hartman

69, of Hanover Township, went to be with the Lord, Monday, February 24, 2025.

She was born October 12, 1955, in Hamilton, to Charles J. “Pops” and Helen M. (Knapp) Estep.

Melodie was preceded in death by her dad and brother, Clayton Estep.

She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Daniel Hartman; children, Michelle (Oak) McKean, Lanette (Steven) Oder, and Danny (Stacey) Hartman; grandchildren, Oaklen, Owen, Lillianne, Victoria, and Liam; sister, Jennifer (Rick) Fussnecker; and nephew, Ricky.

Melodie embraced life with enthusiasm, finding joy in traveling across the country and beyond. From the magic of Disney World to the breathtaking landscapes of National Parks out west, the excitement of Las Vegas, and even the charm of Canada, she was always eager for a new experience and a cherished memory.

A devoted and patient caregiver, Melodie spent her life offering kindness and support to those in need. She found happiness in decorating her home, making every space warm and welcoming. Her love for Harry Potter added a bit of whimsy to her world, but nothing brought her greater joy than gathering with family. Hosting celebrations and bringing loved ones together was one of her greatest gifts.

Above all else, Melodie absolutely adored her grandchildren. They were the light of her life, and she treasured every moment spent with them, showering them with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

A visitation will be held Saturday, March 8 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at First Baptist Church of Trenton, 305 Cypress Street, Trenton 45067. The memorial service will begin at 12:30 PM with Pastor Tim Smith officiating. Inurnment will follow at Somerville Cemetery, Somerville.
