Wilma J. (Steimel) Richardson

Age 81, of Camden, formerly Hamilton, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 after an unexpected illness.

She was born June 15, 1937 in Hamilton to the late Wilbert J. and Charlotte (Fowler) Steimel.

Along with her parents, Wilma was preceded in death by her brother, Michael J. Steimel; grandson, Michael “Buck” Richardson; and son-in-law, Rick Chasteen.

She is survived by her daughter, Penny Chasteen; son, Michael L. Richardson, Sr.; granddaughters, Melanie (Travis) Canaday, Michelle Rogers, Kristen Hacker, and Charlotte Hacker; 9 great grandchildren; brother, Dick Steimel; sister, Debra Seymour; and many more nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Wilma had a passion for reading and would go through at least two books a week.

The family would like to thank Wilma’s former co-workers at QGC for their special friendships and love.

It was Wilma’s request to be cremated.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 24 from 2PM to 3:30PM at BALES' FUNERAL HOME, Camden, with a Memorial Service to begin at 3:30PM.
